Certification of applicants for Master’s degree

On December 28, January 15-18, 2018, applicants for higher education of the master’s degree were certified in the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences.

During the last days, the decisive events took place at the Institute. Thus, the master students approached the final of the training, complex tests were conducted and the master’s works were defended. All the students showed good results and successfully passed the final stage of training.

The chairmen of the examination committees were Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Vasyl Strelets, Ph.D. in Political Science, Associate Professor Olena Korchevska; Director of the Starobilsk District Social Services Center for Family, Children and Youth Larysa Krasyuk; Doctor of Social Sciences, Professor Igor Rushchenko. They highly appreciated the preparation of students and the actual topic of master’s work.

The master students are already working in leading positions: the chairman of the Village Council, the Director of the Luhansk Regional Museum of Local Lore, and others.

During the event, the students proved a high level of knowledge and their awareness in different spheres of social and political life. In the final works, topical issues of decentralization of power in Ukraine, the situation in the border regions of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the problems of international relations at the present stage, the state of social work for today were raised.
