“The Olympic Lesson”

“The Olympic Lesson” was held on March 26 at the Institute of Physical Education and Sport which is located in Kreminna.

The lesson was organized for the students of IPES and Kreminna Vocational Lyceum.

The event was attended by the Head of Luhansk Regional Department of National Olympic Committee Mykola Kravchenko, the Head of the Regional Department of Family, Youth and Sports of Luhansk Regional Administration Anton Volokhov, the Head of the Committee of Physical Education and Sport of the MES of Ukraine in Luhansk Region Viktor Ostrietsov and the director of the Institute of Physical Education and Sport Yurii Poluliashchenko. Also the Olympic Champion in athletics Viktor Bryzghin and the prize-winner of the Olympic games in cycling Iryna Yanovych were presented at the lesson.

During the lesson they told about the history of modern Olympic Games, about the participation of the Ukrainian sportsmen in these competitions including our compatriots, students and graduates of the Institute of Physical Education and Sport of LNU.

In the end, the Olympic quiz was held. Its winners were awarded with the prizes of Luhansk Regional Department of National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
