Competitions of cyclists of the region

There were competitions on the general physical training of cyclists of the region at the stadium “Olimp” (the city of Kreminna).  

The organizers of the championship were the Cycling Federation of Lugansk region and the Regional Council of the FSO “Spartak”, as well as the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports represented by the Director, honored worker of physical culture and sports of Ukraine, Honored Coach of Ukraine Yuri Mykhailovych Polulyashchenko.

The program included such kinds of competitions: long jump from the place, bench push-ups for girls, pulling up on the crossbar for boys, press, sit-ups for 1 minute and running. In total 52 sportsmen from three cities of the region took part in the competition.

The team of the sports club “Zenit” LOO FST “Spartak” (the city of Rubizhne) was trained by the graduate of the Institute Iryna Tverdokhlebova, and the team “Olympic Hope” (the city of Kreminna) was trained by our graduate Kateryna Naberezhna. Her athlete Iryna Kravchenko was the best in her age category.

The main judge of the competitions was our graduate, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, bronze medalist of the Olympic Games, multiple prize-winner of the World and Europe Iryna Yanovych.

The worthy change of the coaching staff of the Luhansk region is the graduates of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
