Preparing for the festival

The student vocal ensemble of LTSNU prepares to participate in the International Festival-Contest of Culture and Arts “Ukrainian Christmas Carol 2018”.

The vocal ensemble “All Stars” operates in Luhansk National University under the direction of Olena V. Cherevata, who has been training young singers in Starobilsk district for more than 15 years. Her students have repeatedly participated in international competitions, demonstrating the beauty and sincerity of the Ukrainian song to the whole world.

During the last two years, the ensemble received awards at the Harzers Festival of Culture of Student Youth, which was held in the Polish city of Kielce. This is the result of the painstaking work of the creative team, which adequately represents the name of the native Alma Mater at contests and competitions of the international and all-Ukrainian levels. The singing talents of our students became the decoration of many festive concerts at the University.

At the beginning of the new year, young people are getting ready for participation in the International Festival-Contest of Culture and Arts “Ukrainian Christmas Carol 2018”, which will soon take place in Lviv. The event organizers invited LTSNU students to learn about the traditional carols of the East of Ukraine. The audience will be able to hear authentic songs, artistic reading and masterly performed instrumental music, as well as to watch pop-choreographic scenes from all over the country. A real pearl of the event will be excursions around the city of Lviv and acquaintance with the Christmas traditions of Lviv. In addition, an excursion to the city of Belz as one of the most ancient cities of Western Ukraine will be organized for the youth of our University.
