Assistants of St. Nicholas

On 19 December, students and lecturers of LTSNU and Civil-Military Cooperation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “CIMIC OTU LUHANSK” became the assistants of St. Nicholas.

The assistants of St. Nicholas presented the holiday to children from large families and families of the dead ATO soldiers in Starobilsk, Starobilsk and Bilovodsk districts. The assistants of St. Nicholas visited the geriatric home and school in the village of Yevsug, and gifts from them went also to the Milove district.

The charity organization of the Luhansk regional branch of the International Charitable Organization “Charity Fund of the SOS Children’s Village”, Charity Fund “Mercy Luhansk”, the Center for General Development “Effective Hromada”, students and teachers of the Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College and the College of Lunansk National University, as well as the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, the institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism, the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications, the initiative team “Creative University”, the head of the Student Social Service and the chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the University helped to create this holiday.

We gave the faith that miracles do happen. Let’s create them together, and not only on St. Nicholas Day!
