A meeting with a representative of the company “Odeon Tours” was held.

One of the advantages of studying at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is a foreign internship. In accordance with the specialization or work experience, students at the time of foreign practice can improve their professional level and acquired skills. The development of international relations and partnership at the University on internship issues is actively engaged in the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technology and Tourism. Within the framework of international cooperation, on December 18-19, the students meetings were organized with the general manager for work with the personnel of Odeon Tours Company Rashad Mamadov.

During the meeting, the representative of the company shared with the audience his professional achievements and practical experience in the field of tourism. The travel company in the Turkish market has been successfully operating for 25 years and serves guests from the CIS countries and Europe. According to Rashad Mamadov, “a foreign internship is not only an opportunity to acquire valuable professional experience, improve the level of foreign language skills, learn about the methods of conducting tourism business, but also a chance to study the culture of another country and to get exciting impressions together with new friends.”

At the end of the meeting, students filled out a questionnaire and applied for an internship at Odeon Tours in March-October 2018.

Students, who after the interview will receive a positive recommendation for internship in Turkey, will be trained in the resort cities of the province of Antalya including Alanya, Side, Kemer, Marmaris, Belek, Kundu. The internship program provides, at the expense of the host country, air travel to the place of practice and back to Ukraine, accommodation for the duration of the internship in a hostel with all conveniences, drawing up documents for obtaining a work visa, compulsory medical insurance, obtaining a new uniform, two meals, providing a mobile phone with SIM- card of the local operator for internal communication. The minimum monthly income is 350-400 US dollars. There is also a system of bonuses and bonuses for the proper performance of their duties and conscientious work.
