On the St. Nicholas Day Eve, students of the Romance and Germanic Philology Department visited children from the Poltava Social Protection Center with gifts.
The life principle of Saint Nicholas was to give happiness, joy and warmth to those who sincerely need it – children. Who truly waits the “Festive Miracle”! Thus, the students of the Romance and Germanic Philology Department visited the Poltava Social Protection Center for Children of Temporary Maintenance to give each child the fairy tale they absolutely do not have!
Children received different puzzles, exercise books and warm clothes. Students did not forget the fact what children love the most, so students bestowed them sweets and fruits.
Students went from the orphanage in an enthusiastic mood, and with the feeling that they will definitely return with new gifts and lots of positive emotions next year! After all, how nice and necessary is to give joy to such a small and defenseless!
