LNU is Helped to Recover in Evacuation

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University has received eleven computers, books and printing paper.

Yesterday, on March 25 the Ukrainian Presidential Envoy for settlement of the situation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions Iryna Herashchenko brought the assistance to the university.

“Unfortunately, all our material and technical resources left in Luhansk and Starobilsk Faculty’s equipment is not enough for the whole university, – noted the Acting Rector of LNU Serhii Savchenko. Now with the obtained assistance we are able to open one more computer classroom and the books in the library will be useful for students to prepare for the lessons”.

Besides, Herashenko met with the university students and answered their questions. The guys were interested in visa-free arrangements and Parliament work. “I am glad that there is a possibility to meet with the representatives of authority, to ask the questions and immediately get the answers. Before now, we often had such meetings at our university but after the evacuation they are almost passed away. Now everything comes back”, – one of the attendee students told.

They noted at LNU that during the meeting Iryna Herashchenko had announced one more visit to Luhansk National University. The next guest is People’s Deputy of Ukraine Mustafa Naiem. He will tell about the advantages of the European integration on the 3rd of April at LNU.
