The teacher of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports took part in the World Power Extreme Championship in the weight category up to 105 kg.

The World Power Extreme Championship in the weight category up to 105 kg was held in the city of Zaporizhzhya. The teams of Canada, Norway, the Czech Republic, Georgia and Ukraine took part in the competitions. As part of the team of Ukraine was the teacher of the Olympic and Professional Sports Department, the master of sports of Ukraine of international class, the winner of the Ukrainian Cup – 2017 and the record holder of Ukraine Oleksandr Dubovoy.

For the first time in the history of power extreme, Oleksandr showed a phenomenal result in the squat exercise with an axel on his chest and set the records of Ukraine and the World, rising 12 times. For example, the carpathian Vasyl Virastyuk – the strongest man in the world, at the competitions in 2003 got up only five times with the same weight.

As a result of the competition, the first place and gold of the Championship was won by the Ukrainian team. The second place – Norway, the third – the Czech Republic, the fourth – Canada, the fifth – Georgia.
