Basketball Tournament

Recently the Regional Basketball Tournament among pedagogical workers took place in the city of Kreminna.
The team of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports took part in the tournament. The competition was opened solemnly by the Head of the Department of the Family, Youth and Sports of the Kreminna Regional State Administration Oleksandr Kuzmenko; deputy head of the Regional Branch of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine A.V. Gazhedryanov and the Director of the IPES Yu.M. Polulyashchenko, who congratulated all teachers on the beginning of the tournament, wished uncompromising struggle and victory to the strongest.
And the struggle really came out hot. So, in the first semifinal the teams of the teachers of the Kreminna district and the city of Lysychansk met; the Lysychansk team won. In the second semifinal, the teams of the “Educators” and the Institute of Physical Education fought. In equal fight, thanks to the dedication of the captain of the team A.V. Livatsky and well-coordinated game the team of Institute of Physical Education and Sports won with a score of 32:26 and reached the final.
The final meeting gave the fans a lot of spectacular moments: the blocks, three spectacled throws, rapid attacks. Unfortunately, there were injuries. So, the captain of the IPES team was injured and could not finish the match. The final signal of the referee recorded the final score of 38:32 in favor of the Lysychansk team.
After the tournament ended, the ceremony of awarding winners, prize-winners and best players was held. Cups, diplomas and medals were prepared by the District Department of the Family, Youth and Sports. Tasty sweet prizes were presented by the Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
Despite injuries, victories or defeats, all the participants remained in a good mood, because taking your mind off the routine is more important than the result.
