Events dedicated to the All-Ukrainian Law Week
8.12.2017
The Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences held events dedicated to the All-Ukrainian Law Week.
The All-Ukrainian Law Week is aimed at ensuring respect for the freedoms of a man and a citizen, as well as the development of international cooperation in the field of jurisprudence. Such events are important for the self-development of student youth, the formation of its legal culture and awareness.
Within the framework of the Law Club, M.I. Rusanova organized the film “The Life of David Gale” for students majoring in “International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studios”, “Political Science” and “History”. The film is dedicated to a man who gave his own life for the victory over unjust justice. The Director of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences A.V. Bader addressed to the gathered students; he noted the importance of human rights activities and legal culture of the individual.
The continuation of the events was a meeting with the prosecutor of the department for supervision over compliance with laws in the implementation of court decisions in criminal proceedings and other enforcement measures of the prosecutor’s office of the Luhansk region.
He told the students about administrative violations, cited convincing examples from the experience of the prosecutor, and answered the actual questions of youth. Everyone was able to realize their own responsibility for their actions and their consequences.
Carrying out such events will help consolidate efforts and unite the goals of state bodies, private and public institutions towards the establishment and maintenance of human rights and freedoms, and facilitate the entry of Ukraine as a legal state to the European community.
