International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Students of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports took part in the event dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

On the eve of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which, according to the resolution of the UN General Assembly, is celebrated annually on December 3, an event was held in the Kreminna district center for social rehabilitation of disabled children. Here students and faculty of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Human Health of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports took an active part.

A dramatized performance took place for the children and their parents, during which the students of the Department Oleksii Lemzyakov, Alina Bezuglova and Dmytro Kharkovsky conducted a “Merry gymnastics” for the pupils of the Center. Also the third-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Human Health “Natalia Shipilova, reincarnated as a doctor, talked about the basic rules of a healthy lifestyle in a playful form. The chairman of the Kreminna District Administration Natalia Chekhuta and the chairman of the District Council Volodymyr Prokopenko greeted the children with warm words and gifts.

The event was held in a positive and friendly atmosphere filled with children’s smiles. Children read poetry, took part in sports games and just had fun. At the end of the holiday, they received sweet gifts.
