“Slobozhanska Conversation – 10. Actual Questions of Linguoecology”

The All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference “Slobozhanska Conversation – 10. Actual Questions of Linguoecology” was held at the University.

The conference was organized by the Department of Ukrainian Philology and General Linguistics.

The tenth and, consequently, the jubilee, conference was dedicated to two former employees of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology, famous teachers and scholars, associate professors Borys A. Sharpilo ​​and Olga M. Mashtabey. Interesting reports on the life and scientific path of outstanding colleagues-linguists, teachers were told by Associate Professor A.A. Nairulin and Professor K.D. Glukhovtseva.

In scientific articles, the conference participants turned to actual linguistic problems. Attention was focused on the functioning of a living oral word, the problems of ecolinguistics, the study of dialect phenomena in the works of Ukrainian writers, the development of the people’s language, and the like. In the mode of Skype, the report “Fashionable” trends in the development of the modern Ukrainian language to the issue of the spread of barbarisms was made: (the author is Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Nikolaev Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education Daria V. Lukyanenko).

It should be noted that the geography of the participants of this conference is presented quite widely. Many students of universities of Ukraine sent the articles to the collection. They were students from Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University named after Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky, Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University, Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University, Nikolaev Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, East Ukrainian Volodymyr Dahl National University, Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University,  Sumy A.S. Makarenko State Pedagogical University,  Yurii Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, Zhytomyr College of Trade and Economics; officers of civil-military cooperation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; teachers and pupils of secondary schools and gymnasiums of Luhansk region.
