Weeks of German language in Ukraine!

Within the framework of Ukrainian-German year of languages, the students of the Romance and Germanic Philology Department actively participated in the initiative of the President of Ukraine and continued the week of German language in their Alma mater.

Year of languages promotes German as a foreign language, its proper values, and its attaching as a necessary contribution to the cultural education and professional development of young people.

Subsequent to Goethe-Institute in Ukraine, the students of the Department took the initiative within the framework of the “Converter” photo project. This platform has become a reflection of the culture and society of the present. On the basis of this platform, young writers and photographers from all over the world can find a place to thoroughly discuss the topics of their everyday life. All materials on the “Converter” are equally important, because they give readers the opportunity to consider any subject from different perspectives and in any language.

Therefore, students of the Department on 15 November were presenting photo-projects about their future profession ‒ teacher of foreign languages! During the project presentations, each participant enthusiastically talked about the advantages of the teaching profession, its importance and value to the strengthening and development of mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation between the two countries in the cultural and educational sphere.
