Мeeting with prospective students

On November 13th and-14th, in the regional scientific library named after Kotlyarevsky, the city of Poltava, the regional exhibition-presentation was held.
Besides our university, about 20 higher educational institutions from Ukraine participated in the event. There were also representatives from Poland, Slovakia, and Czech Republic. The exhibition-presentation was attended by hundreds of schoolchildren from the city of Poltava. Dean of the Department of Foreign Languages I.M. Karpenko, head of the department N.V. Fedicheva and the teachers of the departments described the benefits of studying foreign languages at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University (LNU)and answered the questions posed by future students and their teachers.
Students received informational materials about the faculty and updated booklets of the department of oriental languages. Applicants have expressed their desire to attend the meeting of the LNU Eastern Cultures Youth Club, as well as classes in the oriental languages. It should be noted that the girls were very interested in the Japanese language, but the guys were interested in Turkish. Applicants were also interested in languages of the Romano-Germanic group.
