Operation “West”

Students and teachers of the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences took part in the Round Table “Operation “West”.

The scientific and educational cooperation between the IHIRSPS and the Luhansk Regional Museum is successfully developing.

On November 13, 2017, students and teachers of the Institute took part in the Round table “Operation “West”, during which the leading member of the museum Tetyana Kovalenko introduced the tragic page of the history of Ukraine: the forcible transfer of residents of Western Ukraine to the Donbas and Siberia in 1947.

A documentary film about these events was also shown.
