The Conference in Kyiv

The conference “STEM-education: the state of implementation and development prospects” was held in Kyiv. The head of the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education took part in the event.

On November 9-10, 2017, the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “STEM-education: the state of implementation and development prospects” was held in Kyiv. The organizers of the conference were: Institute for Modernization of Educational Content, Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, National Ecological and Naturalistic Center for Students.

The conference was attended by the head of the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education of the ICSTT Viktor Burdun. He attended a seminar “Methods of work in the All-Ukrainian scientific and methodological virtual STEM-center”.

The participants of the conference took part in the interregional educational forum, where representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Institute for Modernization of the Content of Education, the Minor Academy of Sciences, university professors, vocational and technical schools, general schools, which achieved certain success in introducing STEM education in their educational institutions. Then the participants of the conference saw the poster presentations. Later the work was organized in pedagogical studios. The work was rich in content, interesting and productive. Trainings and master classes were the final and one of the most important stages of the conference.
