Teachers of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the publication of the multivolume Encyclopedia of Modern Ukraine.
Teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences and the Faculty of Natural Sciences took part in the publication of the multivolume encyclopedia of Modern Ukraine.
The creation of fundamental encyclopedic publications that comprehensively illuminate contemporary scientific understanding of the picture of the world and the history of human civilization is a prerequisite for the state to enter the world scientific and cultural space.
The encyclopedia of modern Ukraine is the first multivolume edition that comprehensively delivers a holistic, multi-faceted image of Ukraine of the 20th and 21st centuries in persons and concepts. The publication covers all spheres of the life of our country including the geographical position, nature, history, political structure, economy and industry, science, culture, art, literature, sports and youth subculture.
A significant section of articles in the encyclopedia is dedicated to all regions, regions, cities and towns of Ukraine. They cover history, natural conditions, economic situation, growth of industry and agriculture. And the scientists paid much attention to the historical events that took place in Luhansk, its famous personalities and the modern development of the region.
Teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences A.V. Bader, O.A. Zabudkova, and the Faculty of Natural Sciences I.G. Melnik and N.V. Guseva, who are members of the National Union of Local History of Ukraine, actively joined in the work on the publication of XVIII and XIX volumes of the encyclopedia and wrote an article about Luhansk. Scientists of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University highlighted the geographical location of the city, the population of the region, outstanding architectural monuments and led the main historical stages, in particular the events after the October Revolution and occupation during World War II.
According to the Director of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences A.V. Bader, this work was tense and long, but necessary for society and objective understanding of the present.
