There was a discussion on art education and other things on the 18th of March at the Institute of Culture and Arts of LNU.
Traditional for the institute scientific and practical conference “Art Studies and Aesthetic Education of Youth” was held. ICA has held such scientific forum for more than ten years. The students, magistrands and young scientists participate in it.
This year the conference has gone to the All-Ukrainian level. A significant number of the speakers was represented by LNU magistrands and students but also there were participants from other regions of the country (in particular, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Drohobych).
The meeting participants discussed important problems and directions of modern musical pedagogy and musical art including musical and aesthetic education of children and youth in Ukraine, problems of developing children’s abilities for music, organizing children creative teams, training and education of music school pupils and so on.
The feature of the scientific event was the organizing discussion of young scientists both inside of the conference-hall and online. Due to the use of modern technical equipment (video sequence on the screen) the participants were able to communicate with the speakers from other cities of the country.
The conference was opened by the director of the Institute of Culture and Arts of LNU, Doctor of Pedagogic Sciences, Professor Inna Stashevska.
