The author’s song contest

A citywide contest of the author’s English-language song was held in the singing city of Poltava.

It took place on the basis of the Poltava National V.G. Korolenko Pedagogical University. The final round was attended by a dozen of the best performers of their own songs in English among students and schoolchildren. Our University was represented by students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​Yarina Taran and Herman Kobzar.

Members of the jury were desperate to argue, the definition of winners was delayed … Then the organizers asked participants to fill in the time and continue to perform any of their own songs. Only the duet from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University gladly agreed and did it almost half an hour.

The jury announces: the grand prix of the competition was awarded to representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. The whole audience looks at the winners with astonishment …
