Meeting with representatives of law enforcement bodies

A meeting with representatives of law enforcement bodies was held at the College of LTNUS and the Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College.

The main purpose of the event was the prevention of juvenile delinquency, since adolescence is a time of rapid physiological, psychological and social changes. An inspector for the juvenile prevention of the prevention sector of the Starobilsk Police Department in the Lugansk region A.O. Nikolaeva, the inspector of the Starobilsk District Department for Probation Issues A.А. Udovika and the prosecutor of the Starobilsk local prosecutor’s office N.O. Borsenko visited our University.

The senior lieutenant of police А.O. Nikolaeva spoke about the responsibility of minors for committing offenses and noted that the punishment for crimes adversely affects future employment and self-fulfillment.

Representatives of law enforcement agencies also provided statistical data on juvenile delinquency in the Starobilsk district. The present students had the opportunity to realize the responsibility for the committed offenses and discuss current issues with law enforcement.

At the end of the meeting, the youth saw the film about the life of prisoners in educational colonies.
