“Hello, we are looking for talents”
6.10.2017
A festive concert “Hello, we are looking for talents” was held at LTSNU.
Traditionally at the beginning of the academic year, the student youth unite and active freshmen demonstrate their talents at our University. Today in the assembly hall of the native Alma Mater, there was a friendly atmosphere of festivity and unity. After a long and tense preparation, students of the structural subdivisions showed the audience their concert performances.
The performances of the concert participants were appreciated by the distinguished jury, which included the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Dmytro Uzhchenko, the chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization Volodymyr Moroz, the chairman of the Student Self-Government Yaroslav Chepel and the representative of the sector of cultural work among the masses Inna Salo. Throughout the event, they closely followed each performance and objectively appreciated the creativity of the youth. The honorary guests of the holiday were servicemen who visited the University and became part of the friendly family of Shevchenko’s University.
The most perceptive and painful for each viewer was a poem performed by Tamara Veretsun “Wait for me”. Those present had an opportunity to recall the terrible events of the war, which became a memory for every Ukrainian, and also to make sure that love wins in any enmity. The poetic work of Taras Shevchenko “Fate” performed by Maryna Melezhik conquered the hearts of true fans of the artistic word.
The choreographic performances of students were equally impressive. With great enthusiasm, both modern and folk dances were performed, which symbolized the unity of generations and respect for centuries-old traditions. Olga Miroshnyk and Yuri Sherbak were remembered for the audience with an unforgettable colorful Ukrainian dance; Karyna Matsneva presented an unforgettable creative performance “Fantasy”.
The acting skills and the humorous part of the holiday did not remain without attention. With love and irony, the students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences focused on the eternal problems that disturb the youth, and also demonstrated the audience their creative talents.
A real decoration of the festive program was the song performed by Dmytro Voronkov and Elyzaveta Bezpala. Melodiousness of the Ukrainian soul and singing talent were recognized by both the audience and the jury.
The most exciting part of the event was the awarding of the best students in various categories. With the support of the Primary Trade Union Organization, students, who showed activity and creative approach to organizing the holiday, were awarded with prizes.
