Teacher’s Day

The Teacher’s Day was celebrated at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. 

There is a day in the calendar when the mood of the whole country is especially elated and joyful. In the first week of October, the country solemnly celebrates the Educator’s Day, the day when educational institutions flutter in autumn colors and blossom with smiles of pupils and teachers.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University celebrates this holiday annually. On this day, our Alma Mater becomes lively. Students hasten to congratulate their teachers, filling the building and the audience with the smell of flowers and gentle words. And the teachers receive the most important gift from their students – gratitude for their hard, but really necessary work.

Today in the assembly hall, the teaching staff of LTSNU gathered, where the festive concert “15 Moments of Autumn” was held. The students, headed by the head of the Center for Culture and Leisure О.P. Mironova prepared wonderful university concerts for teachers.

Wonderful words, heartfelt gratitude were told to teachers. Our students Valeria Kalinichenko, Viktoria Lysenko, Vlad Teterev, Nadezhda Protasova, Rima Kolesnik and others performed impassioned, sincere, incredibly beautiful songs. The choreographic collective “Inspiration” congratulated teachers with incendiary dances. A variety of bright performances delighted the audience and forced to plunge into the lyrical mood.

The festive concert ended with warm words addressed to those who chose a difficult but honorable and high destiny. After all, being a teacher means doing feats every day.
