The teacher of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences Illya F. Kononov received the honorary title “Honored Science and Technology Worker of Ukraine”.

Today solemn events for the Day of Educators were held in the city of Severodonetsk. Teachers of Luhansk region were congratulated on the holiday by the chairman of the Luhansk Regional State Administration – the head of the Regional Military-Civil Administration Yuri Garbuz, who noted that the teachers are given special responsibility for the younger generation, since they form the personality, worldview, values ​​and civic position.

Celebrations took place in the Luhansk Regional Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater. The pedagogical elite of the region attended the event; and the best representatives of the educational sphere were awarded with diplomas. The Doctor of Sociology, Professor, Head of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology of the Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Illya F. Kononov received the honorary title “Honored Science and Technology Worker of Ukraine”.

Ilya Fedorovych is a graduate of our University, who always remained faithful to Ukraine and his native Alma Mater. The scientist has passed a way from student years to the authoritative scientist, recognized in the scientific community of Ukraine. Now the teacher is engaged in the study of social processes in the zone of military conflict, pays much attention to scientific research and application of theoretical knowledge in practice.

The honorary title “Honored Science and Technology Worker of Ukraine” is a symbol of state recognition of the achievements of the talented scientist. The collective of teachers and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University congratulates Illya F. Kononov and wishes further success in scientific work, good health and longevity.
