Meeting of the Commission on Social and Humanitarian Work

Today the meeting of the Commission on Social and Humanitarian Work of the University took place.

The event was attended by deputy directors and deans on social and humanitarian work of the university structural subdivisions, representatives of the student social service of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Vice-Rector for Scientific-Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Babichev stressed the important role of social and humanitarian work and identified the directions for further activities.

Iryna S. Koteneva described the peculiarities of the adaptation of first-year students. She focused on the need for individual work with students and the law of Ukraine “On Education”, which regulates the educational process.

The experience of the Lysychansk Pedagogical College in content filling and methodological support of the educational process was presented by the Deputy Director E.P. Litovka. She talked about innovative approaches to the formation of an active citizen-patriot and presented modern forms and methods of forming a civic stand of students.

The members of the commission studied the practical experience of the teachers at the Lysychansk Pedagogical College, and a series of activities was proposed for use in further practical activities.

At the end of the event, the teachers summed up the results of the questioning of university students, identified problems and prospects, and approved plans for the social and humanitarian work of the University structural subdivisions for the academic year 2017-2018.
