Victory at the European Championships

The teacher of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports participated in the European Championships as part of the national team of Ukraine.

The European Team Ultimate Strongman Championships was held in the city of Zaporizhzhya. Six teams-participants competed from Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Finland, Great Britain for the title of the strongest men of Europe. A team of strongmen from Ukraine won silver medals according to the results of five disciplines, losing to the team from Poland.

The owner of the Cup of Ukraine in 2017 for power extreme, the owner of the records of Ukraine for powerlifting and power extreme sports, the master of sports of Ukraine of international class, the teacher of the Olympic and Professional Sports Department Oleksandr Dubovy was part of the national team of Ukraine. The captain of the Ukrainian team was the president of the Federation of Power Extreme of Ukraine Valerii Gazayev.

This is a great victory for the heroes and their mentors. It marked the beginning of a new stage in the development of power extremes in Ukraine.
