Meeting of students

A meeting of students was held at the Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College.

The agenda of the meeting included issues about the work of bodies of student government in the academic year 2016-2017 and the election of their members for the current academic year.

The Director of College E.S. Kolpak addressed the active students and thanked them for their achievements in cultural, volunteer and socially useful work and noted that the student self-government is a special form of initiative, independent, responsible public activity of students in solving important issues of living at the educational establishment: organization of training, leisure, development and support of youth initiatives. During the past year, with the active participation and support of the student council of the college, a large number of interesting events were held. These are competitions, exhibitions, staging, information and educational programs, meetings with interesting people. All this became possible due to the activity of students and their responsible attitude to the task entrusted to them.

Alena Ostapenko, the student of the PO-3 (9) group, the chairman of the student council of the Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College, addressed all those present and noted that effective work and success can be achieved only on the condition of friendly cooperation and every student’s participation in the life of the group and college.

The composition of the student council of the college was also renewed at the meeting.

The most exciting part of the meeting was awarding students with certificates for active participation in public life and the development of youth initiatives.
