The Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences held a popular holiday among students – Health Day.

Health Day is a traditional event, its main purpose is to attract first-year students to the socio-cultural life of the Institute, which gives them the opportunity to enter the amicable family of the Institute. Nothing brings the collective closer together like a casual conversation in nature, at the fire in the last warm autumn days. Within the framework of the event, sports competitions and various contests were organized.

So, an integral part of the holiday was the “competition of the tourist table,” in which students’ teams presented themselves and their culinary masterpieces, including roast meat, stuffed fish, shurpa and porridge. Teachers, determining the winners, tried the dishes of contestants and told funny stories from the life of the Institute.

This year the teams of the first year and senior courses competed. There was a large number of relay races aimed at uniting the team. The first-year team faced the situation when it is necessary to unite in a short time and demonstrated a real will to win. In turn, senior students showed the ability to achieve the goal jointly. The highlight of the sports part was the tug of war. Boys, girls, and teachers participated in this competition. However, the unconditional winner were sophomores.

The traditional end of the holiday was the performance of the institute anthem. Students returned home in a good mood and as real friends, and the next day they repeatedly asked the directorate how often such bright events would be held.
