“My native land – 2017”

On September 16, the winners of the contest “My native land – 2017” were awarded in Lviv.
The year of 2017 is twice-anniversary: the 100th anniversary of the Union of Ukrainian women and the 20th anniversary of the International Competition of Student and Student Youth “My native land”. Scientific, research, creative works of students and pupils from 22 regions of Ukraine and Italy were submitted for the competition. The works are united by the theme of the native land – Ukraine, concerning little-known and actual pages of history, ethnography, culture, literature, linguistics, ecology and health of the nation, the past and the present state.
Students-philologists of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications annually take part in this competition and again won in various nominations:

I place – Anastasia Unik, master student (nomination “Poetic voice, artistic and literary creativity”);
II place – Yulia Dudukalova, master student (nomination “Literary studies, linguistics and folklore studies”)
II place – Denis Smirnov, master student (nomination “History of my land”);
III place – Anastasia Gorban, II year student (nomination “Ethnographic research”).
