In order to encourage and form a positive attitude of young people to higher education in the Institute of Culture and Arts and the Faculty of Foreign Languages, as well as to increase the image of LuhanskTaras Shevchenko National University, the lecturers visited schools in the city of Kremenchug,Poltava region, among them: Secondary school І-ІІІ steps № 8, Secondary school І-ІІІ steps №12, Comprehensive school І-ІІІ steps №26, Comprehensive school І-ІІІ steps №27, Kremenchug Pedagogical College named after A. Makarenko, Poltava regional specialized boarding school of the ІІ-ІІІ levels with in-depth study of individual subjects and courses at the Kremenchug Pedagogical School named after A. Makarenko, Kremenchug inter-school training and production combine №. 2, Kremenchug professional Lyceum named after A. Makarenko.

Heads of Romance and Germanic Philology Department and Theory and Practice of Translation Department attended the general parents’ meetings in Poltava in the leading schools of the humanitarian field, among them: Secondary school of the І-ІІІ levels №38, Secondary school І- ІІІ steps № 29, Poltava gymnasium № 17, Poltava gymnasium № 33.

The students were professionally informed about the directions of training and the specialties for which training is carried out in the structural units of the University located in Poltava, the schoolchildren and teachers were informed about the rules for admission to the LuhanskTaras Shevchenko National University and the regulatory and organizational documentation governing the introductory campaign in 2018. The lecturers of the university told about the organization of scientific activity and educational process in LuhanskTaras Shevchenko, living conditionsand leisure. Eleventh graders were invited to theOpen days in Poltava, tenth graders – to study in preparatory courses and further admission to our university.
