Elections of the student self-government

The Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences held elections of the student self-government.

The self-government in higher education is one of the most important components of student self-organization and attraction of future specialists to public life. Student self-government of the ER IHIRSPS, on the one hand, integrated into university-wide self-governing structures, on the other hand, has its own peculiarities, conditioned by the unique atmosphere and culture of the Institute. Thus, SKIF operates at the Institute, which is a congress with its president and sectors in different directions.

In the election of “SKIF”, which took place this week, Evgenia Shevtsova was elected as the president, who, with her main goal, determined the need to involve as many students of the institute as possible to self-government. Also, student of the Institute decided the elect Dasha Cherevata to the position of vice-president. The chairman of the student council of the hostel Mykola Kaminsky, and the institute’s trade unionist Anastasia Niziyova were re-elected for a second term.

During the gatherings, sectors on science, information, everyday life, as well as cultural, enterprising and sports sectors were formed. As a consequence, almost every student has the opportunity to find himself in a field that he likes.
