Students of LTSNU continue to take part in the project “Consolidation of efforts to prevent and overcome the consequences of domestic violence”.

In Luhansk region, “International Alert” is implementing the project “Consolidation of efforts to prevent and overcome the consequences of domestic violence”, with the support of the European Union. The project aims to provide psychosocial support for families of local residents and IDPs in villages in the Luhansk region, as well as specialists in auxiliary professions who are victims of the military conflict in the East of the country.

Students of LTSNU with the support of the student social service of the University as part of the mobile brigade continue to carry out visits, and recently visited one of the villages of Starobilsk district. Specialists of the Center for Psychosocial Adaptation and volunteers conducted art-therapeutic master classes for children, adolescents and adults.

Residents of the village thanked the guests and gave fascinating creative performances. At the end of the meeting, volunteers treated children to sweets in a friendly circle.

According to the coordinator of the Center for Psychosocial Adaptation of the city of Starobilsk Olena Dorogavtseva, the format of the mobile teams ‘psychological care at home’ is the optimal and effective provision of psychosocial support to the population of villages.
