“Financial Awareness for a Sure Future”

Students of ER IPMIT took part in the training “Financial Awareness for a Sure Future” in the city of Rubizhne.

The event was held within the framework of the USAID project “Transformation of the financial sector”. The program aims to assist internally displaced persons, people affected by the conflict by providing them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to make sound financial decisions in their daily lives and enabling them to play an active role in the lives of their communities.

As part of the training, students received information on major banking and non-banking financial services, income and expenditure management, benefits and risks of using bank cards and loans, and ways to effectively manage their own funds.

At the end of the training the issue of active participation of a person in the life of society, the possibility of community activism at the community level was considered.

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies express their gratitude to the coaches Olga Agafonova and Viktoria Yarova for two days of interesting studies and to all organizations that made this project possible: USAID, Ukrainian Women’s Fund and the Project Initiative Social House Project.
