“Hello, friend!”

On September 12, an event for acquaintance with first-year students “Hello, friend!” took place at the Faculty of Natural Sciences.

The sports event began with the greeting of the Rector of the University Serhii Savchenko, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Babichev, the Dean of the Faculty N. Yu. Matsai. The teams were formed with the help of the drawing lots. Each team included students of different specialties.

Students enjoyed traveling around stations, demonstrating their skills to jump, run and think creatively. Despite the fact that some students in the teams were not even familiar with each other, they quickly found a common language and acted jointly and collectively. At each station, the tasks were different. The teams took part with interest and enthusiasm in the competitions “Django”, “Funny Monkeys”, “Tracks”, “Labyrinth”, “Spit”, “Web”, “Making puzzles “Symbols of the Faculty”, “Dome of friends.”

At the end of the holiday, all students were treated to field porridge. Freshmen were returning as friends from the event. The holiday left only positive emotions for students.
