Art-therapeutic seminar

The art-therapeutic seminar took place at the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky in the city of Odesa.
The postgraduate student of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Anton Nazmiev and head of the Student Social Service Department of the University Olena Dorogavtseva participated in the training seminar on art therapy and conflictology “Pedagogical therapeutic work with children and adolescents traumatized by the war”, organized by the leading specialists of the society stART international e.V. (Germany).
The seminar was held in the city of Odesa on the basis of the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky. 120 volunteers, psychologists and teachers participated in the seminar.
In the near future, the Europe Without Borders society, in cooperation with the Association of Art Therapists of Ukraine and the St. Paul Rehabilitation Center, with the support of Deutsche Gesellschaftfür Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and on behalf of the German government, will organize a project “Overcoming Psychotrauma and PTSD Prevention” for children and teenagers for the sake of the future of Ukraine”. The goal of the project is the implementation in educational and therapeutic practice of methods of integral-pedagogical therapy of art in order to overcome psychotrauma in children and adolescents who became victims of war in Ukraine.
