Track and field cross

Students and teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports organized a track and field cross.

This year the cross was dedicated to the Day of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine. There were sports “battles” at a distance of 1000 m among girls and 2,000 m among boys in the picturesque surroundings of the sports complex “Olimp” in the city of Kreminna.

The races took place in an interesting sports wrestling, which aroused keen interest among students. According to the results of the competition, the third-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports” Andrii Lysenko became the winner of the track and field cross among the young men with a result of 6 minutes 12 seconds.

Second place was taken by the third-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports” Ilya Sumorok with a result of 7 minutes 05 seconds. The third place was given to Stanislav Maltsev, the first-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Physical Culture” (his result is 7 minutes 10 seconds).

Among girls, the winner was the third-year student majoring in “Physical Education” Lyubov Novikova with a result of 3 minutes 55 seconds. The third-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Physical Training” Kateryna Efremova took the second place (her result is 3 min 56 s); the third place was taken by Tetiana Kopteva – third-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports”, who defeated the distance in 4 minutes 19 seconds.

Prizewinners of the competitions were awarded with diplomas and sweet prizes. All participants received a great emotional and physical charge of vivacity.
