Entrance examinations for postgraduate studies

The entrance examinations for postgraduate studies are continuing at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.  

Postgraduate studies are a form of training of scientific-pedagogical and scientific personnel for higher educational institutions and research institutions. At our University, doctoral studies and postgraduate studies have been functioning since 1965, and during this time a large number of scientists have been trained who have gained recognition and gained prestige not only in Ukraine but also internationally.

On September 6, young scientists passed an examination in philosophy at our University. The chairman of the Commission, Doctor of Sociology, Professor Ilya Fedorovych Kononov congratulated all those present, spoke about the features of the test tasks and wished success during the testing. Within two hours, future applicants for a PhD degree had to find answers to 100 test tasks.

Knowledge of philosophy will be needed for future applicants and during postgraduate studies in the study of the subject “The Modern Scientific Revolution and the Methodology of Scientific Knowledge”. Scientists will consider the main problems and methodological directions of modern scientific discourse.

We wish young scientists success in passing the exam and achievements in their research work.
