Entrance examinations to the postgraduate study

Today, the University hosted an entrance examination in a foreign language to the postgraduate study.

The modern developed country, which is the engine of pedagogical progress, cannot be imagined without the scientific potential. Young scientists are the continuers of the traditions of the coryphaeus and the future builders of science on the territory of Ukraine. An important stage in the preparation of young people for obtaining a higher education degree of Doctor of Philosophy is the examination to the postgraduate study.

This year, examinations are attended by future applicants in the specialties: educational, pedagogical sciences; professional education; musical art, history and archeology; philology; economy; political science; sociology; management; mathematics; agronomy; social work; public management and administration.

The requirements for entering the postgraduate study, which were reformed last year, remained unchanged this year. Test assignments correspond to level B, in accordance with international requirements for determining the level of knowledge of a foreign language, and the normative period for the preparation of a Ph.D. in the postgraduate study is four years. The first year is training; the next three years are the writing of a thesis.

Today about 30 people worked on test tasks. Scientists from different parts of Ukraine have demonstrated their level of proficiency in a foreign language. The next exam on philosophy will be held on September 6.
