Faculty of Foreign Languages begins its work

The Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​begins its work in the city of Poltava, on the basis of Poltava University of Economics and Trade for the third year in a row.

Every year the number of students in our Faculty is growing, and this year the audience, where the grand meeting was held, was full. By tradition, the event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Ivan Karpenko Ivan. He expressed his sincere wishes for success to the first-year students. After all, this day is especially solemn and exciting for them, it is from this that an unexplored, interesting and at the same time hard way to cognition, to new achievements, to independent life. And he wished senior students to maintain enthusiasm and delight of the chosen specialty and to continue to bear the proud title of “a student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages”.

Then heads of Departments of the Faculty: Natalia Fedicheva, Head of the Department of Oriental Languages, Svitlana Shehavtsova, Head of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology, Svitlana Perova, head of the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation expressed their congratulations and wishes.

The students were introduced to curators of academic groups, who conducted an introductory briefing on safety precautions, and attended a concert on the occasion of September 1, which was held by the Institute of Culture and Arts and the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

So, we wish our students fruitful work and creative success in their studies, and patience and inspiration in this academic year to our teachers!

According to the Faculty of Foreign Languages
