The I – III year students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of LNU had a session on the eve of spring from February 23 to February 28 in Starobilsk.
The students were pleased to see their mates and teachers. Besides, the youth were positive due to the friendly attitude of faculty employees and their assistance with dormitory accommodation.
On Monday, February 23, there was a meeting with the Dean of the faculty Ivan Karpenko and the Deputy Deans who congratulated the students with the session, explained them the arrangement of further education at the faculty, told about the website of remote education of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and also answered the important questions. On Tuesday, February 24, the students visited Starobilsk Museum of Regional Studies where they learned the interesting history of the city. On Wednesday, February 25, there was a curatorial lesson on the occasion of the university anniversary where students met with their curators. Also there was a pleasant and useful meeting with the Head of Research and Methodological Department of the International Cooperation Iryna Myhovych.
As you know, a teacher is an educator of child’s souls. Children in the kindergartens are very happy to their guests. Thursday, February 26 was a day of attending local kindergarten No. 8 and of communicating with children.
The whole week was just like one day and the stationary session is ended. Tomorrow large classrooms will be full of other students. “We are looking forward to the next meetings and classroom education because foreign languages need practice and this is very important. We are grateful to our teachers for their favour and understanding, for their interesting and effective approaches in education. We would like to thank all those people thanks to which our faculty works, who are its heart and who directly influence on our professional success. Many thanks to our teachers, who understand our difficult situation, support us, help, advice and say with a smile: “It’s going to be alright!” We congratulate our university with its birthday! We wish our Alma Mater peace and harmony, prosperity and well-being and for the staff – life force, creative energy, new scientific and professional achievements!” – the students of FFL expressed their impressions and wishes.
