Day of the State Flag of Ukraine

Today at 9 o’clock in the morning there was a ceremony of raising the National Flag at the park near the stele of Taras Shevchenko in the city of Kreminna.

“Today, the flag is more than a symbol for us, because our boys and girls are fighting for it in the ATO zone. We are genuinely confident that the blue and yellow banner will soon fly over Luhansk,” – the chairman of the Kreminna State District Administration Natalya Chekhuta said at the ceremony.

The solemn event was held with the participation of the heads of the district and the city, the leaders of Skolivsly, Busky, Peremyshlyansky, Radekhivsky and Turkivsky districts of Lviv region, servicemen of the 58th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, clergy, public, youth, teachers and staff of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

At the end of the event was held a patriotic car race through the streets of the city of Kreminna and nearby settlements in which the Director of the Institute Yuri Polulyashchenko and the Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work Oleksandr Brusak also took part.
