LTSNU in the World Ranking of Repositories

Webometrics introduced an updated version of the Ranking Web of World’s Repositories. 

The July Ranking Web of World’s Repositories included 2372 repositories from around the world. Ukraine is represented by 59 repositories of universities. Among them is the digital repository of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, which ranked 36th among the repositories of Ukrainian universities, among the repositories of Central and Eastern Europe – 115, in the European rating we got 544th place. In addition, in the continental ranking our repository occupied 760 position, and in the world -1302.

Recall that the purpose of this Ranking is to support initiatives for free access to scientific publications and educational materials in electronic form. It is made by the Cybermetrics Lab of the National Research Council of Spain (“Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas”, CSIC) under the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain. Developers publish it twice a year – in July and in January.
