Participation in the “Theme of the Day” Program

The Rector of LNU took part in the discussion program “Theme of the Day” on the “LOT” TV channel.

The key to successful development of the higher educational institution is information support and public relations. “Theme of the Day” is a discussion program that is broadcasted by the LOT channel and provides an opportunity for experts to discuss topical issues, find answers to pressing issues and analyze events.

The host of the program Alesya Vakulenko began a dialogue with the question of the place of LTSNU in the consolidated ranking of higher educational institutions of Ukraine. And this is not accidental, because among the 288 universities of Ukraine, which are present in the final table of the consolidated rating, our University took 52nd place. In addition, according to the rating results, LTSNU became the best higher educational institution in Luhansk and Luhansk region.

“We took 52nd place in this rating, and I think this is a good result for the displaced university. In the region we became the first, which we are proud of it,” – the Rector said.

In the studio of the TV channel, Serhii Viktorovych also spoke about the work of the Admission Committee and the Donbas-Ukraine Educational Center at the University, the rules of admission and the current issue. The Rector also spoke about the goals and tasks that are setting for the new academic year.

“We have a lot of plans. Firstly – to make a good admission, secondly – to provide all students who need housing, a place in the hostel, thirdly – to improve the material and technical base of the University. These are our priorities,” – he summed up.

Participation of the Rector of our University in the television program “Theme of the Day” is a testament to the successful development of our University, which despite the difficulties, successfully continues its educational activities, remaining the standard of quality of Ukrainian education.
