LTSNU has launched the admission campaign

On June 30, 2017, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University has launched the Admission Campaign – 2017.

At the opening of the admission campaign, the entire Admission Committee met:

S.V. Savchenko – Chairman of the Admission Committee, Rector of the University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the APS of Ukraine;

D.V. Uzhchenko – Deputy Chairman of the Admission Committee, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor;

O.S. Meniailenko – Vice-rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor;

Ya.I. Yurkiv – responsible secretary of the Admission Committee, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor;

N.Yu. Matzai – Deputy Executive Secretary of the Admission Committee, Head of the Educational Center “Donbas-Ukraine” at LTSNU, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor;

A.E. Verkhovod – Deputy Executive Secretary of the Admission Committee, Head of the Technical Group;

V.I. Garmata – responsible for receiving electronic applications from entrants;

O.L. Karaman – member of the Admission Committee, the Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.

The event was opened by the chairman of the Admission Committee Serhii Savchenko, who addressed the members of the Admission Committee with a welcoming speech. He noted the leading role of the admission campaign for the further development of the University; listed the tasks that are facing the Admission Committee; noted the need to create a team, friendly and working atmosphere in the Admission Committee, the implementation of an individual approach to each applicant.

The Deputy Chairman of the Admission Committee Dmytro Uzhchenko also congratulated all those present on the start of the admission campaign – 2017. He spoke about the peculiarities of the rules for admission of entrants of various categories this year; wished good luck to all members of the Admission Committee.

The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Meniailenko spoke about the technical support of the work of the Admission Committee and admission of entrants; warned of responsibility for the accuracy of entering data on applicants and the order of their enrollment.

The head of the educational center “DONBAS-UKRAINE” at LTSNU N.Yu. Matsai told about the order of work of the center and the features of admission of entrants from uncontrolled territory and the demarcation line in 2017.

After the opening ceremony of the 2017 admission campaign, Yaroslava Yurkiv, the executive secretary of the Admission Committee, held the first working meeting, which detailed the conditions for admission to universities of Ukraine and the Rules for admission to LTSNU in 2017.

The Admission Committee is one of the most important departments of the university, which participates in the formation of a contingent of students and the maintenance of a positive image of the university.

Working in the Admission Committee is a very honorable and responsible work; school of leadership, development of social and communicative competence; the possibility of realization and self-realization as a professional and personality.

We are confident that the admission campaign 2017 will be successful, because the university worked on its results all year, carrying out advertising and career-oriented work, demonstrating high results of educational, scientific, social and humanitarian work, glorifying the university at the International and All-Ukrainian levels.
