Features of the entrance campaign

At the beginning of work of the admission committee, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the peculiarities of admission to universities in 2017.

The main advantage of admission to Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is a fixed state order for all specialties. It means that our University will compose its own rating while other Ukrainian universities will accept for studying according to the All-Ukrainian rating. Consequently, the chances of studying for state budget funds are significantly increasing.

Applicants to the Bachelor’s degree on the basis of full general secondary education for full-time and part-time studies, (except for those who have the right to participate in the competition based on the results of the entrance examinations, admission in an interview and out of competition) will submit documents only in electronic form.

Applicants will be able to submit documents to the places of state order up to nine applications for four specialties. The number of applications is not limited on the contract form of training. When submitting applications, the entrant should indicate their priority, that is, the entrant should indicate in what order he would like to be enrolled in the chosen specialties.

For admission, certificates of the external independent testing 2016 and 2017 are accepted. The Ukrainian language and literature will remain an obligatory subject, the second mandatory subject is mathematics, history of Ukraine or biology, depending on the university and specialty, the third one will be determined by a higher educational institution that can offer two subjects of choice to the entrants.

This year, additional opportunities to get higher education have been created for graduates of educational institutions located on the territory of rural settlements. So, thanks to the rural factor, which is 1.02, applicants receive additional points of certificates of the external testing. Also, people who wish to study at our University receive a regional ratio, which is 1.03. Applicants who submit applications with the first priorities for technical engineering and natural-mathematical specialties receive an industry coefficient of 1.03.

Persons who have concluded an agreement on working out at least three years in rural or urban areas acquire the first factor, which is 1.10.

Deadlines for submitting documents

Registration of electronic offices – from June 29 to July 25 (until 18.00).

The beginning of receipt of applications and documents – July 12.

Deadline for applications and documents:

• For persons entering on the basis of an interview, entrance examinations or creative competitions – July 20 (until 18.00);
• For persons entering only on the basis of certificates of the external independent evaluation – July 26 (untill 18.00);
• For persons arriving on the basis of the OKU of a junior specialist in full-time education – July 24 (until 18.00).

Conducting creative competitions – from July 17 to 26 inclusive;

Conducting the entrance examinations – from July 21 to July 26 inclusive;

Conducting interviews – from July 21 to July 23 inclusive.

Entrance examinations for the persons entering on the basis of the educational and qualification level of the junior specialist on full-time study form – from July 25 to July 31.

• The announcement of the rating list is on August 1 (untill 12.00).
• Admission to the budget places – until August 7 (until 12.00).
• Enrollment to the contract places – until September 30.
