Ukraine Constitution Day

Today the Constitution Day is celebrated in Ukraine.

The Constitution of Ukraine is the main document that defines the basic human rights and freedoms, the most important social relations, the territorial structure of the state, the democratic principles of its development.

The history of the democratic Ukrainian state begins with Hetman Orlik, who in April 1710 made a republican-democratic manifesto. This document was one of the first in the world community, which declared the rights and equality of all citizens.

In modern realities, when our country passes the test of unity and territorial integrity, the Constitution acquires immense significance and influence on social development. The rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Basic Law include the Ukrainian people to a cohort of democratic, developed states whose authorities carry out their activities in the interests of every citizen.

Teachers and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University deeply respect state symbols and laws. We understand that our common victory depends on the hard work of each of us and unity in thoughts and actions.

The Constitution of Ukraine united Ukrainian society and laid the foundation for the development of modern democratic European Ukraine.
