“Donbas-Ukraine” sums up the results

The educational center “Donbas-Ukraine” sums up the results of the first week of work in the consultative mode.

Recently, the educational center “Donbas-Ukraine” started its work at our University. It provides an opportunity for applicants from uncontrolled territory and the demarcation line to enter the Ukrainian universities. According to the head of the educational center N.Yu. Matzai graduates began to contact institutions, send letters to e-mail, and personally submit documents for the admission.

On the initiative of General Director of the Open Policy Foundation Iryna Zhdanova, Head of the Department for Displaced Higher Educational Establishments of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Svitlana Kretovich, and the Head of the Education Department Yuri Stetsyuk, representatives of higher educational institutions of the region met. Our University was represented at the meeting by the Rector Serhii V. Savchenko and the head of the center “Donbas-Ukraine” N.Yu. Matzai.

At the meeting, the participants discussed the organization of the work of educational centers and the most urgent problems of graduating from the uncontrolled territory. The participants noted the important role of the center “Donbas-Ukraine” in providing graduates from the uncontrolled territory with access to quality education.

On the eve of the event, the General Director of the Open Policy Foundation Iryna Zhdanova visited the checkpoint of entry and exit “Stanytsia Luhanska”, where she together with representatives of the police and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine published information materials on the activities of educational centers.

Announcements that contain up-to-date information on admission to training under the simplified procedure were also posted in the most visited places of Starobilsk.

The work of the educational center “Donbas-Ukraine” continues. We invite graduates of the 9th and 11th fors from the uncontrolled territory and the demarcation line to enter our University under the program of accessible education.
