Visit of international partners

Representatives of the Czech Development Agency visited Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

An important condition for the development of the university is the international cooperation and the exchange of experience with European partners. The Czech Development Agency cooperates with countries that need assistance, especially in the educational sector. Since 2014, Luhansk National University has started active cooperation with the representatives of the organization.

The main activities of the Agency are the development of the potential of educational institutions, the establishment of partnerships between Czech and Ukrainian universities, as well as international exchange of students. Specialists of the Czech Development Agency identify countries that need assistance and contribute to the establishment of the principles of a democratic society and the comprehensive development of the state.

Last year, the Agency provided modern equipment to LTSNU, which improved the organization of the educational process. The purpose of today’s visit to our educational institution was to check the work with the equipment provided, as well as discuss prospects for further assistance.

During the visit to Luhansk National University, the project manager of the Czech Development Agency Jan Peyril visited the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Trends in the development of higher education in the conditions of a hybrid war in the East of Ukraine.” The European turned to scientists, thanked for the warm welcome, and also noted the importance of such scientific events in the modern realities.

Jan Peyril also met with the University Administration, made sure of the availability and effective operation of the equipment provided and identified areas for further assistance and cooperation.

In an interview on the radio of LTSNU “University Wave”, Jan Peyril talked about his impressions of Starobilsk and the directions of the work of the Czech Development Agency in Europe.

Visits of representatives of European organizations contribute to the development of the institution, its recognition and prestige in the international educational arena. Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University remains the standard of quality of Ukrainian education, guided by modern principles and the latest trends in the development of the sphere of educational services.
