Impression of the concert

Teachers, students and staff of the University shared their impressions of the concert of the group Okean Elzy, which was held in the city of Lysychansk.

On June 9 in the city of Lysychansk was held a concert of the famous Ukrainian group Okean Elzy. This event united fans of Ukrainian music not only from the Luhansk region, but also from all over Ukraine, and even from temporarily occupied territory.

The downpour, which almost did not subside during the whole concert, did not prevent the real connoisseurs of musical art from enjoying the beauty of the singing of the band’s frontman Svyatoslav Vakarchuk.

The event was attended by lecturers, staff and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University with the support of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the University.

The software engineer Anna Bugaevska told about her impressions of the concert and emotions during the trip. “At the concert of Okean Elzy I was the second time. Being in Kiev, I was fortunate enough to visit the music event of the well-known Ukrainian group, but I could not get into the fan zone. Therefore, I especially liked the concert in Lysychansk, as I enjoyed the music not far from the stage,” – the girl noted.

The Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences N.Yu. Matzai is a fan of the creativity of Okean of Elzy: “I always dreamed of attending a concert of this legendary band. But certain circumstances always became a hindrance. The heat, torrential rain and thunderstorms did not become a hindrance, and I got an unforgettable impression of the expressive drive in the fan zone.”

The engineer-programmer Vladislav Teterev took part in the trip to Lysychansk. “I heard about the concert the day before. Although I am not an ardent admirer of Okean Elzy, but I like the atmosphere of such events. Without hesitation, I decided to go to the concert, and did not regret my decision. Emotions that overwhelmed me throughout the whole action, cannot be described in words,” – the boy said.

The secretary of the dean’s office of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Marina Zolotukhina recalls: “For a long time I wanted to get to a concert, so the trip to Lysychansk was very desirable for me. About the atmosphere at the concerts of the group Okean Elzy I knew, and therefore expected to receive positive emotions. The rain and the cold a little bit upset me, but the incredible support of Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, who, together with the audience, suffered from bad weather, added a drive and will be remembered for the rest of my life. “

The students of our University also attended the concert of the group Okean Elzy. Marina Chumakova, who studies at the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications, spoke about her emotions after the event: “I had some concerns about the approach to the front line. But everything went well. Of course, we all froze, we waited a long time for the concert, but incredible emotions will remain in our hearts for a long time. “

The secretary of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications Anastasia Bondar did not stay away from the events in Lysychansk. “Most of all I remember the communication with friends, their constant support while waiting for the concert. The test in the rain shower in Lysychansk demonstrated to each of us that the weather cannot prevent real fans of good Ukrainian music,” – the girl noted.

The concert of the group “Ocean Elzy” became a landmark event for the entire Luhansk region and will remain in the memory of dedicated fans for a long time.
