The volunteer work is one of the activities of the Student Social Service. The university volunteers participate in the mentoring program “Big Brother” in order to support children whose parents died during military events in the east of Ukraine.

The socio-psychological direction of the work of the Student Social Service Sector includes psycho-preventive work among students and teachers; Psycho-diagnostic work among students; Psycho-corrective, advisory and educational work.

At the same time, the University Administration noted unresolved problems in the work of the Student Social Service, among them insufficiently effective cooperation with the university’s separate subdivisions on social and socio-psychological work and the difficulties associated with attracting faculties and institutes outside the city of Starobilsk to cooperation.

Nadiya  N. Karlova made a report on the implementation of the decisions of the University Administration in the academic year 2016-2017.
